Day 48 - Documenting the firsts {like ice cream on a Sunday!}

Hazel eating ice cream for the first time ever.

I feel like this goes without saying, but documenting the firsts of Hazel's life is THE BEST THING EVER. I mean what better way is there to really and truly remember some of the most special moments in your child's life than taking a picture of it?! They can be firsts that are big.  Or firsts that are small. But all the firsts are magic! And there's a lot of them in a kid's life. I mean if you think about it eh-ve-ray-thing is new at some point!

Well today our first was ICE CREAM!!

We wanted to wait until her 2nd birthday, but what the hell. There's an ice cream truck that drives up our street daily (no joke) and stops outside of our house blaring the ice cream truck song. Did I mention it happens daily? And usually when Hazel is napping and I want to throw something at him to shut off the noise. Well today we were all awake. So we sprinted across the street so Hazel could see what all the hub-ub is about.

We went for a long walk in the morning and got nice and sweaty. Hazel was cushy in her pram, but we were huffing and puffing up the hill back to the car. So apparently that gave us a hankering for something sweet. Needless to say she was all about it and said "more, more, more, pleeeeeeease" about 200 times. Yes, she managed to squeak out a please and use some of those manners we're always on about.

Note that no matter how much she is enjoying something, there's always enough to share with Ben & Itsu. Such a sweet babe!

Tell me about your favourite "first" picture that you have in the comments! I'd love to hear about it!
